In a statement issued on Monday, the Lebanese army said that a person called Suleiman al-Rai was killed mistakenly when a military force interfered to settle a row that took place in Dhour al-Shweir area between two party sides.

The row took place on Sunday evening when supporters for the Kataib (phanalagists party) had come from an election gathering in their headquarters in Bekfaya as they were in a bus in Dhour al-Shweir, the headquarters of Antoine Saadeh, the founder of the Social Nationalist Syrian party.
