Ezzat al-Douri nephew detained in Iraq

Attacks continued in Iraq with the coincidence of a large scale breaking in acts launched by the American and Iraqi forces in different parts of Iraq, the last results of which was the announcement made by the Iraqi authorities that Muthanna Shehab Ahmad al-Douri, nephew of Ezzat Ibrahim al-Dour, the second highest ranking official in the former Iraqi regime, stressing that he was detained in al-Dour area to the south of Tikrit and that he is one of the persons who had ensured the protection of his (chased) uncle.

Worthy mentioning that there is a 10 million dollars ward by the American forces to the anyone who leads the Americans to the capture of al-Douri.

The Iraqi authorities announced that other 110 persons, suspected to have had launched attacks in Iraq, were arrested on Tuesday in al-Sherqat area near Musil city to the north of Iraq.

On the other hand, the American army announced in a statement that it had launched a large scale campaign in Abu Ghrieb area in collaboration with the Iraqi army and the forces of the Iraqi ministry of the interior during which 285 suspected persons were seized, stressing that all persons arrested in this operation are Iraqis.

The American army announced in another statement that some 184 persons were detained on Thursday and Friday in operations carried out by the Polish and Iraqi forces in al-Sweira area to the south of Baghdad.
