Women In Business international forum deliberations

Women in Business International Forum 2005 deliberations on Sunday focused on basics of the beginning in the establishment of works. Speakers centered on using technology and information system to develop work of companies and nature of the relation between, producer, consumer and investor.
The necessity to find an integrated teamwork to achieve jobs and overcome obstacles that hinder the establishment of any business were also discussed during the session.
Speakers underlined the significance of continuous communication among businesswomen for the exchange of expertise, information as well for collaboration of efforts through all stages of the work to realize success and perform the work as soon as possible and in a perfect way.
Another session was held to deal with challenges, changes and opportunities in field of healthy care.
Presiding the session, Chairman of Syrian-British Society Fawaz al-Akhras.
Speakers reviewed their own experiments in field of healthy care, role of vital technology in healthy care and boosting private sector's role in this field, the necessity of organizing and supervising healthy insurance market and increase of healthy culture among peoples.
Discussions and dialogues on way of the work in domain of healthy care and means of developing this sector were held following the session.
Woman in Business International Forum 2005 started Saturday its activities by a special session titled as "Muslim Women in Business Sector."
During the session, Malaysian ex-Premier Mahatir Mohammed talked about Malaysian woman's experience in business field saying "She has an important role and contributes in the economic and national development," indicating that the Malaysian woman realized so many achievements and successes in different fields of life as economy, socialism and policy.
"Malaysian woman becomes a main prop in parties' props in Malaysia, she has been voting in election for along time ago," Malaysian former Premier said, pointing out that in Malaysia women are surpassing men in field of education all over its stages, "which proves that discrimination between the two sexes is mere an illusion" Mahatir Mohammed added.
"Malaysia has a main specialty represented by its capability of having cheap working forces and providing more characteristics and motives for creating work capacity and job opportunities for both women and men," SANA quoted Malaysian former premier as saying.
He went on to say that Malaysian women now compete with men for executive positions and they become able to offer a lot of achievements in both investment and banking sectors as well as industrial and foreign trade fields. "Muslim woman proved capability of going along with work culture as well as Islamic traditions and morals, she could be a mother, wife and at the same time a successful business woman," Mahatir Mohammed concluded.
Another session was held on developing society, social welfare and business.
During the session, Expatriates Minister Buthaina Shaaban addressed the session on behalf of Head of State Planning Commission Abduallah al-Dardari. "It is necessary for all society sectors to work for achieving development and progress and creating suitable environment for attaining democratic participation on equal footing with man," Shabaan said.
"Syria has achieved remarkable progress in field of woman education and giving her rights despite of the existing challenges," she added. Shabaan stressed the necessity that development of policies to focus on finding job opportunities to attain balance between economic competences and social justice for all society.
Speakers at the session underlined the significance of holding such a forum in Damascus which is considered one of the most important regions that have witnessed coexistence among different denominations and religions and successive different civilizations. The speakers proposed a number of strategies to be utilized by the businesswomen.
