Bouto in Damascus to attend women in business forum

Former Pakistani Prime Minister said on Friday the Syrian woman is playing an important role in the society and she is now aspiring to make use of the chance available in field of business marketing locally and internationally.
In a statement to SANA upon arriving in Damascus to take part at Women in Business International Forum 2005, Benazir Bouto expressed happiness to participate at the forum saying it would pose as a big opportunity for women communication in business.
"The forum is to create a main base for building companies and starting new projects as well exchanging knowledge and skills with other women in the world," Bouto said.
Representative of the First Lady in South Africa to the forum noted the significance of the forum comes from its concentration on improvement of women's situation in the world and its role in field of business as well the economic and social development.
"Woman can contribute to view points convergence and find out adequate solutions for problems and crisis the society is passing through, the South African representative said.
Damascus is to host tomorrow the first forum to be held out side the UK on Women in Business International Forum 2005 on sharing knowledge and skills in the Global Economy.
