In his sermon at Central Campus of Tehran University, Kashani pointed out at the unanimous voice of the nation regarding getting this technology saying that no one could ever deprive the nation of the nuclear technology.
He condemned the Israeli terrorist policy against the Palestinian people as well the US policy based on interference in Iran's internal affairs.
Turning to the US claims on Iran's support for terrorism, he said "Those claims aim at diverting the world's public opinion from the daily Israeli practices in the occupied Palestinian territories and the US flagrant violations of sanctities," Following Friday prayer, large popular demonstrations were held protesting the desecration of the holy Qur'an by the American soldiers at Guantanamo Bay prison.
Demonstrators underlined that the United States should apologize to Muslims for the senseless desecration. "This criminal act indicates the US false claims regarding democracy and human rights." They denounced the US unwavering support to Israel calling for putting an end to the US and Israeli breaches of the sanctities.
