Woman in Business International Forum convened today
Syria-Regional, Business, 5/21/2005

Woman in Business International Forum starts activity today under the patronage of Syria's First Lady Asma al-Assad. About 200 women from 27 Arab and foreign countries including 450 Syrian business women in addition to international well known politicians will participate in the forum, which is held for the first time outside Britain, due to its importance.

The international forum aims at improving business women's capability to build economic and developing companies based on exchanging skill and experts between Europe and the Middle East as well as encouraging new pioneers to develop their small and intermediate projects.

It also will deal with many axes touching upon woman and her increasing role in work scale, general relation science, developing work to go along with environmental benefits.

Training courses specialized in strategic administration, financing and banking plans, as well as realizing a compromise between private life and work are issued to be discussed in during the forum's activities, Al-Thawra daily said today.

Woman in Business Forum 2005 is witnessing an important attendance from both political and economic international personales including wife of Egyptian president Mrs. Suzan Mubarak, wife of Turkish Premier Mrs. Amenah Erdogan, Pakistani ex-Preimier Benazir Bhottu, Expatriate Minister Buthina Shabban, Malaysian ex-Premier Mahatir Mohammed and Head of the Arab Business Women Council Sheikha Hassa al-Sabah.

The forum is organized by the international assembly of women in business with the cooperation of Syrian-British society.
