Aisha al-Qathafi honored for her work

Women activists in the Great Jamahiriya celebrated in Tripoli Thursday evening the award made to Dr Aisha Muammar al-Qathafi, the Secretary General of Wattessimo Charity Society, JANA reported yesterday.
JANA said "The Distinguished Arab Woman Award was granted by the Center for the Study of the Arab Woman in the United Arab Emirates in appreciation of her role in the field of human and charity work and her valiant stance against violations of international law," and that Dr Aisha Muammar al-Qathafi said she what was given to her "was an award to Libyan women in general."
