Libyan leader receives message from Moroccan king on UMA summit
Morocco-Libya, Politics, 5/20/2005

Libya's leader Muammar al-Qathafi received Thursday a message from Morocco's King Mohammed VI on the preparations of the Maghreb Arab Union (UMA) summit scheduled to be held in Libya, handed by Moroccan Minister-delegate for Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Taib Fassi Fihri.

Early this month, Morocco said it is open to any initiative to hold the UMA summit in Tripoli in the best conditions. On its part, Libya said there is "a political will to reactivate the structures of the Arab Maghreb Union."
