Lebanon to hold elections as schedule
Lebanon, Politics, 5/19/2005

Lebanese Premier Najib Miqati on Wednesday said his government completed necessary procedures to hold parliamentary elections on schedule.

"Lebanon is ready to cooperate with different international bodies and commissions to ensure best atmospheres for elections due on May 29," Miqati added during a meeting with the UN envoy for Lebanese elections Carina Pirelli. He said that the international missions' presence in Lebanon to verify elections is an additional indication of the great interest the international organizations give to Lebanon.
