Egyptian-Brazilian fertilizers petrochemicals projects

Chief of the Egyptian-Brazilian Businessmen Council Ashraf Al-Atal said yesterday that investors from the two countries decided to set up joint projects to produce fertilizers, petrochemicals and equipment to meet needs of the local market and export to foreign markets.
Al-Atal's remarks came following his return from Brazil where he attended the Arab-Latin America summit held recently in Brazilia.
He added that the two sides agreed to increase trade exchange from $ 650 million to about one billion within the coming five years, and also increase Egypt's exports from $33 million to $300 million within the same period.
