Abul-Gheit:The importance of the role of the African Union and not allowing foreign interference in Darfur

ln statements to reporters following the end of the summit, Egypt's Foreign Miniser Ahmed Abul-Gheit commended the results of the summit saying the participant leaders agreed on resuming negotiations in Abuja, stressing the importance of the role of the African Union and of not allowing foreign interference in Darfur affaire.
He said Egypt has repeatedly reiterated its willingness to cooperate with the African Union in solving this crisis.
