Lebanese premier stresses national unity, focus on economics

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Miqati underlined on Tuesday the importance of the national unity and coexistence in Lebanon as well to pay attention to social and economic affaires that concern Lebanese.

In a meeting for financial and economic activities in Lebanon, Miqati called for consultation and coordination among the government and all economic activities to face social and economic problems that hinder the government action.

"The government is determined to remove all obstacles hindering its work as well obstacles that halt the work of economic institutions," Mikati stressed.

He announced the government would put atop of its priorities facilitating visa into Lebanon noting a work team would be formulated to discuss all suggestions and find solutions for difficulties facing economic sectors at present time.
