160 foreign oil and gas companies in conference in Egypt

Egypt's Minister of Petroleum Sameh Fahmi will open tomorrow activities of the 2nd International Petroleum Conference organized by some Egyptian and American specialized associations.
Representatives of about 160 world oil and gas companies will attend the conference in addition to about 150 experts from allover the world working in prospecting for oil, drilling and services.
The two-day conference will discuss about 200 researches on prospecting for oil and gas in deep waters and the up-to-date technology and techniques applied in this field.
On the sidelines of the conference, some sessions will be held for the industrial safety systems and ways of protecting environment.
The foreign oil and gas companies working in Egypt will explain their experience in the Egyptian market and the success of their businesses. Moreover, a session will be held to brief the guests on oil and gas investment opportunities available in Egypt.
