Rice in a sudden visit to Iraq

In a visit which was extremely secret to Iraq, the US secretary of state Condaleezza Rice on Sunday arrived in the north of Iraq in order to give support for the new Iraqi government.
Rice had arrived in Irbil which falls under the control of the chairman of the Kurdistani Democratic party Masoud al-Barazani on the board of a C-17 military plane. The American secretary of state left Washington in a completely secret mission and just very few of her aides were notified about the journey.
