Syrian Premier Naji Otari said the Arab-Latin American Summit held recently in Brasilia was "historic Summit" between the Arab states and the south American world.
In a statement at the reception held in honor of Premier Otari by Syria's Ambassador in Spain Mohsen Bilal, Otari said the Arab-Latin American Summit stressed support to the Arab issues and the restoration of the all occupied Arab lands as well as the necessity of achieving security and stability in the region.
Otari added that the summit underlined those two important regions' willingness to cooperate in order to achieve multi-polarity on the margin of this world's framework which is dominated by the uni-polar policy.
He also pointed out that the summit highlighted cooperation in the cultural and economic domains in the interest of both sides, adding that the conference was a "victory to justice." The premier also talked about the situation in the region, reiterating Syria's commitment to a just and comprehensive peace based on the international legitimacy resolutions and the land-for-peace formula.
