Annan assigns a German judge as head of the UN committee on Hariri's assassination

UN Secretary General Kofi Annan assigned Wednesday a German judge as a head of the UN Committee of investigation into Lebanese ex-premier Rafiq al-Hariri's assassination.
During a phone call Lebanese Foreign Minister Mahmoud Hmmoud Prime briefed Premier Najib Miqati of that assignation.
