al-Thawra: Lebanese minister stresses Syrian workers' rights
Lebanon-Syria, Politics, 5/12/2005

Lebanese Minister of Labor and Agriculture Tarrad Humaydi said his country was rebuilt thanks to Syrian workers in Lebanon and they should get their full rights.

In a statement to al-Thawra newspaper Wednesday, Humaydi pointed out that his Ministry will coordinate with the Syrian Ministry of Social Affairs to study all the agreements signed between the two states to secure the Syrian workers' rights within scientific bases and criteria. " As long as we need those Syrian workers and we call them willingly ... we should secure their rights and compensate them in case of risks."
