Miqati: no stability without peace

Lebanese Premier Najib Mikati on Wednesday underlined the necessity of implementing the Arab peace initiative of Beirut to achieve the just and comprehensive peace in the region.
"The Middle East is in serious need for a fair solution based on the international resolutions which provide for the Israeli withdrawal from the occupied Arab lands and the establishment of a Palestinian independent state," Miqati said in a speech to the Arab-Latin America Summit held in the Brazilian capital of Brasilia.
