The report commended the response of the authorities with the recommendations issued by the committee. Chairman of the human rights national committee in Qatar Khaled al-Ateyah said that the committee submitted all debated cases to sides concerned for dealing with them.

In a talk with al-Jazeera TV al-Ateyah stressed the need of finding out solutions for monitored cases, noting signs to settle these files.

Concerning the issue of residency, travel and the guarantee system applied on residents, al-Ateyah noted that amendment in the related laws will see the light soon.
