Al-Assad receives Qardawi

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad on Tuesday discussed with Chairman of the International Union of Muslim Scholars and Head of the European Mufti Council, Sheikh Youssef al-Qardawi, the role of the true religious commitment in elevating self-esteem and uniting sons of the same nation.
President al-Assad pointed out to the efforts exerted by Sheikh al-Qardawi in his speeches to enhance the Muslims unity and display the true image of Islam.
