Syria - Saudi Arabia talks discuss outcome of Abdullah recent tour

Syria's President Bashar al-Assad and Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah Ibn Abdul Aziz held talks at Damascus International Airport and attended by members of the official delegations of both sides.
The Syrian-Saudi talks today have dealt with the outcome of Saudi Crown Prince's visit to each of France and the United States, A presidential announcement said here this evening.
It added that discussions between President Bashar al-Assad and Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah touched upon bilateral relations and situation in the Arab region as well issues of joint interests.
"There is a confirmation on carrying on consultation and coordination between the two sisterly countries over issues presented, " the announcement said. Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal said in a statement today the visit has included many elements that join the two states either on bilateral relations or on what is related to the international situation particularly. Crown Prince Abdullah is coming from a tour during which he visited some countries and there might be a consultation over these issues that he discussed with these countries.
" Consultation between the two countries is always useful not only regarding their bilateral ties but also for the benefit on the Arab arena in general," Saud al-Faisal said.
