US Senate majority leader leaves Cairo at end of two-day visit

US Senate majority leader Senator William H. Frist left Egypt on Friday wrapping up a two-day visit where he was received by President Hosni Mubarak.
The Mubarak-Frist meeting dealt with the Mideast process including the Israeli withdrawal plan from Gaza Strip, the situation in Lebanon, Syrian-Lebanese ties besides reforms in Egypt and the upcoming elections. Frist arrived in Cairo Wednesday from Beirut as part of a Mideast tour.
