Seven Yemeni soldiers were killed and other five were injured in most recent clashes between the supporters of Hussein Bader Eddine al-Houthi who was killed in the recent confrontations with the Yemeni army near the Yemeni- Saudi borders.
One government official asked to be anonymous said that the new confrontations erupted between fleeing persons of al-Houti supporters, including his father Bader Eddine, and between the government forces in Saadah governorate. No statement was issued by the army about these confrontations.
On the other hand, the Yemeni authorities announced it has detained 11 persons including one woman affiliated to a group of believing youths. It is the rebellious Zeidi group.
The Yemeni ministry of defense announced that these persons were detained in a flat which they had rented in one of Sanaa quarters. A paper, mouthpiece of the Yemeni army, said on Thursday that the security forces seized one girl staying with them in the same flat. The paper expected that the gang was "using the girl in circulating the violence provocative bulletins." The September 26 paper said that several mortars, machine guns and publications and Fatwas provoking acts of violence and challenging the Republican regime in Yemen were found with members of the gang.
The Yemeni ministry of defense announced that those persons were members in a gang which carried out destructive acts and throwing bombs on several cars of defense ministry staff and several public places in the capital resulted in killing and injuring several citizens."
