Turkey denies a secret agreement with the United States

Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul denied any secret agreement between his country and the United States regarding the air base of Incirlik. "The use of Incirlik base will definitely be within the framework of the UN and the NATO resolutions," Gul said in a statement before the human right committee in the Turkish nation council on Wednesday.
The minister stressed that Turkey did not offer a "carte blanche" to the United States regarding the air base.
