Cemetery from Romanian Age unearthed near Damascus

A mass cemetery site including 29 tombs dating back to the Romanian Age was unearthed in Qara town, 80 km north Damascus. 'Al-Baath' newspaper said Wednesday that the cemetery which was discovered near the highest peak in Snir Mount 2,464 m height included also five clay jars that represent a historical, artist and civilization heritage.
Fractions and bones were also unearthed in the cemetery which are now on display put now in Deir Atiyah Museum.
