German technical training course for textile, ready-made clothes workers

The German Agency for Technical Cooperation (GTZ) is due to sponsor a training programme for workers in Egyptian textile and ready-made clothes companies in cooperation with the German-Arab Chamber of Industry and Commerce (GACIC).
The training programme, due to start next June aims to raise the quality of Egyptian textiles and ready-made clothing to European standards. GACIC Chief Executive Officer Dr. Peter Gopfrich said that the training programme will be held in a number of Egyptian cities including Cairo, Alexandria and el-Mahalla el-Kubra.
