On the two missed American warplanes

An official at the US defense department, the Pentagon, said that investigations concluded that the two missing warplanes of the marine forces clashed to the south of Baghdad. The body of the pilot of the first plane was found while search continued for the second missed pilot and his missing planes.

In a separate track, the Australian foreign minister called for releasing his citizen Douglas Wood who has been detained in Iraq. he extended an appeal via al-Jazeera TV to release the businessman who suffer serious health problems.

Alexander Downer, from the UN asked for disclosing the fate of his hostage. This was expressed on the sideline of the NPT in New York.
