Kuwaiti and Saudi businessmen upbeat over tourist investment in syria

Kuwaiti businessmen who took part recently at the gathering held in Syria to encourage tourist investments, voiced satisfaction over investment atmosphere, saying it is full of big facilities and encouraging impulse.

"The atmosphere of investment in Syria is full of big services and positive inclination offered by the Syrian government," Bou Khamsin told SANA in Kuwait.

He underlined the investment environment in Syria is distinctive by its components and conveniences as well public services.

For his part, Chairman of the Syrian-Saudi Businessmen Council Basel Ghalayini said Saudi businessmen interest in tourist investment in Syria "is serious, and the investment atmosphere is heading to be better." "Our participation in the tourist investment in Syria is important due to what is offered of encouraging procedures and incentives," mandated member of the Kuwaiti markets mulls, Tawfiq Jarah told SANA.

Deputy Minister of Tourism in Syria Mohanad Kalash said on Tuesday that the number of investors and businessmen orders to book the proposed tourist projects and sites has reached to 53 demand after the end of the Tourist Investment Market Forum.

"Demands asked to book 15 tourist site with a cost of $ 435 millions, and this rate has exceeded by more than half of the values of the proposed sites which are distributed in 8 Syrian cities," Kalash told SANA.

He added that his ministry will continue receiving the orders of businessmen till tomorrow. A forum held in Damascus last week has attracted a great number of Arab and foreign investors and businessmen to invest and establish tourist projects in Syria.
