Abbas detains Fatah members over attacks on Israel

The Palestinian Authority on Thursday detained two members of al-Aqsa martyrs groups of the Fatah movement over links to missile attacks against Jewish settlements.
This detention came hours from the threats made by Abbas of using force to ensure the success of the ease down, which the Palestinian resistance groups announced cling to.
For its part, the Palestinian resistance groups announced rejection for Abbas's threats. The Islamic Jihad movement stressed that it stresses rejection of these threats, should it have connection to resistance weapons, while the Islamic resistance movement ( Hamas) stressed commitment to what was agreed upon in The Cairo Declaration. But it stressed it will retaliate to any Israeli violations that leads to killing of Palestinians.
The people's resistance groups which did not abide by the ease down, expressed its regret. It said that the forces should be made against Israel which kills the Palestinian civilians and attack police men and resistance men, alike.
Concerning the elections, the chairman of the higher committee for the Palestinian local elections Jamal al-Shawbaki said that the second phase of the local elections will be held on May 5th to include 484 Palestinian gathering including four main cities.He explained that the elections will be held in 76 circles in the West Bank and 8 circles in Gaza.
