Al-Tawhid group used secret ink for planning attacks in Jordan

One witness before a Jordanian military court disclosed that al-Tawhid groups, which are accused of trying to carry out an attack by chemicals at government's buildings in collaboration with Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, used secret ink in their communications.

Judicial sources said that the government witness, who is a Maj. Gen in the public intelligence, stressed to the court he had discovered that the organization which is led by Azmi al-Jayousi used secret ink on the two papers in order to write the email addresses and its instructions and how to choose the targeted positions and ways to implement them.

For his part, one of the special forces army officer said that his group broke on March 31, 2004 one position in Irbid to the north of Amman and found a car inside which were explosives and chemicals.

An expert in the computer affairs said on Wednesday that the CDs found with the groups included training courses on how to deal with explosives and poisons.

The attorney general of the state council Col. Mahmoud Obeidat on October 17 addressed seven accusations to 13 persons including al-Zarqawi, seven of them are tried present. If convicted they can face the death penalty.

Worthy mentioning that al-Zarqawi was tried in 2000 and was sentenced to 15 year imprisonment. He was sentenced to death on April 6th 2002 on charge of involvement in the assassination of an American diplomat. The state security court, one month ago sentences in absentia for al-Zarqawi to imprisonment for 15 years on charge of planning to carry out attacks including a suicide attack targeting the Jordanian embassy in Iraq.
