Other sources said that Berri who is an alley for Syria announced that date of the elections after reaching an agreement on that in a meeting held on Tuesday with Hizbullah and the Druz leader Walid Junblat and the parliamentary bloc of the former Lebanese prime minister Rafiq al-Hariri.

On may 31, the term of the current parliamentary session in Lebanon expires. the Lebanese constitution states to call for elections at least one month before the date of voting. N.
