Iraqi woman parliamentarian assassinated

The Iraqi police said that gunmen killed member of the Iraqi parliament, Lamia Abd Khadawi, in front of her house in al-Bonouk ( banks) quarters in Baghdad yesterday.
The source added that the group cordoned the house of Lamia, who belongs to the Iraqi list which is led by the former Iraqi prime minister Eyad Allawi, and when she went out they opened fire at her and fled.
In the same context, al-Jihad Qaida organization announced in a statement on the Internet responsibility for the killing of two officials at the Iraqi ministry of the Interior in an ambushed in the west of the capital.
The statement added that the general inspector in the ministry of the Interior Maj. Gen Jihad al-Aeibi and his son were killed while other three of their guards were also killed.
One person was killed and other three injured in a bomb explosion in Beiji city to the north of Baghdad while one American vehicle was running.
One Iraqi soldier was killed and another was injured in al-Dalou'eya to the north of Baghdad when one missile fell on its airport which is taken by the American forces as a base.
Meanwhile, a source at the Iraqi ministry of defense said that 14 armed suspects were detained in breaking in operations in various parts of Baghdad. Explosives and bombs were found with them.
On the other hand, medical sources in al-Ramadi to the west of Baghdad said that members of the American forces broke into the city's hospital in search of the leader of al-Qaida organization Abu Musab al-Zarqawi.
Director of the hospital said that the American forces received information that al-Zarqawi was there and four cars were deployed to escort him at the hospital, while the forces broke into several houses to the east of the city and closed its entrances and bridges leading to it, after receiving these information.
