Syria notifies UN of withdrawing all its forces from Lebanon
Syria has notified the UN secretary general Kofi Annan it has completed on Tuesday the withdrawal of all its forces positioned in Lebanon in line with the UN Security Council resolution number 1559.

Syrian forces withdrawal from Lebanon complete
More than 2 thousand persons at the Syrian- borders welcomed the return back of the Syrian forces deployed in Lebanon. Some 300 soldiers crossed the borders in military trucks amid slogans commending President Bashar al-Assad.
