Cairo, Khartoum probe implementation of Four Freedoms Agreement
Egypt-Sudan, Politics, 4/27/2005
An Egyptian delegation arrived in Khartoum yesterday to discuss with Sudanese officials ways to implement the so-called four freedoms agreement signed by the governments of both states.
The Egyptian delegation is led by Ambassador Afifi Abdel-Wahab, Head of the Sudanese department at the Egyptian Foreign Ministry.
The four freedoms are those of movement, work, ownership and residence.
Although most of the freedoms were tackled, Khartoum was yet to modify conditions on the Egyptian citizens' ownership of Sudanese real estate.
