Al-Thawra: Syria - German private university in Homs

Youssef Abdlaki, Director of the project of the Syrian-German private University of al-Wadi, which will be built in the Syrian central city of Homs, has said that the university will receive students starting from next September.

The university will teach curriculums of the German universities in English language by German, Arab and other academicians, he added in a statement to al-Thawra daily published Sunday.

He pointed out that the university includes many colleges such as engineering college with several specializations: optical, data, computer engineering, communications, economy, business administration and human sciences.

The Syrian-German University of al-Wadi is non- profit project and it will be built by the support of the Syrian expatriates in Germany and the Syrian-German Association for Sciences and Technology. It is financed by 140 families from Wadi al-Naddara in Homs province.
