Egypt's agricultural exports up to L.E 6 billion

The Egyptian agricultural exports upped to LE 6.155 billion from January to September 2004 compared to LE 4.301 billion in the same period of 2003.

The raw cotton exports scored LE 2.7 billion from January to September 2004 with an increase rate of 35.2 %.

Orange exports also increased from LE 181.1 million to LE 365.7 million, lemon from LE 8.2 million to LE 54.6 million.

Egypt's raw sugar imports increased by 34 % standing at LE 151.9 million against a decline in the country's refined sugar import by 62.3 % to score LE 69.5 million.
