The Guardian: British professor depicts Israel as illegal and racist

A British professor at Birmingham University said on Friday Israel is an illegal entity that practices a past policy of apartheid against the Arab and Palestinian students.
"Israeli universities with its personnel and staff are taking part in routine way as to violate rights of Arab and Palestinian students and citizens," Sue Blackwell was quoted by the Guardian daily.
She called to impose a British academic boycott on Israeli universities saying it was a necessity that British professors and academics take a clear position against the racial segregation.
Blackwell condemned the total international silence over what is happening in the Palestinian territories noting she would never go back from its initiative even if the British Academic lecturers league in Eastborne does not approve it.
