Ukraine parliament approves sending soldiers to the Golan

Ukraine's parliament approved on Friday sending 200 Ukraine soldiers to join UNDOF working in the occupied Syrian Golan heights.
Some 278 parliamentarian voted on the proposal debated by the President of Ukraine Voktor Tutshinko to the parliament and boycotted by 134.
The Ukraine Inter-Fax agency said that the soldiers are not presumed to take part in any fighting and that the ministry of defense will be responsible for their spending to be compensated by the UN later.
The UN Security Cuncil decided in December renewal of the UN mission in the Golan for 6 months until June 30 of this year.
