Three Israeli soldiers injured in Gaza; Sharon cling to settlements
Palestine-Israel, Military, 4/22/2005
An explosive went off near a patrol for the Israeli occupation forces to the east of Gaza, and this resulted in injuring three Israeli soldiers riding a jeep near Nahal Ouz crossing. Israeli medical sources said that one of the wounded is in a critical health condition.
Palestinian security sources indicated that the occupation forces started to open fire intensively following the explosion, at a time when one military helicopter landed at the site of the attack.
This attack is considered the most recent since the cease fire announced by the Israeli and Palestinian sides in Sharm al-Sheikh summit on February 8 and the cling of the Palestinian sides to calm down. So far, no Palestinian side claimed responsibility over this operation.
