Plea for new approach to reinforce Euro-Med cooperation

Speaker of the Moroccan House of Representatives, Abdelwahed Radi, pleaded, Monday, for a new approach to reinforce Euro-Mediterranean cooperation.
He called for setting up fresh implements to back development in counties of the South in order to reduce the gap between the North and the South, consolidate peace in the Euro-Mediterranean region and activate the strategic aspect of the partnership.
Speaking at a meeting with a visiting delegation of the association of Belgian French-speaking former parliamentarians, Radi added that Morocco aspires to closer relations with Europe, recalling that most trade exchanges of the north African country are made with Europe.
