New mass graves for Kuwaitis in Iraq found

The Kuwaiti official News agency said yesterday that the bodies of 43 Kuwaitis were found in Iraq as well as the bodies of other 13 persons believed to be Kuwaitis after their bodies were examined.

The Iraqi human rights minister Bekhriar Amin said that the bodies of 41 Kuwaitis were found in three mass graves in al-Amara governorate while the remains of other two were found in the cemeteries of Basra city.

Amin added that he has information that 13 Kuwaitis were buried in two separate places inside the Kuwaiti lands and that experts are examining that.

Kuwait's original list of missing includes 570 Kuwaitis, 14 Saudis and others from Lebanon, India, Iran, Egypt, Syria, Bahrain and Oman.
