Miqati for cementing relations with syria

Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Miqati said one of the new government's priorities is maintaining the national principles, on top of which cementing relations with Syria.

In a statement following the announcement of the new government on Tuesday, Miqati said "The government will work on boosting the national unity, solving themain problems, protecting resistance and confirm the national principles built on the Taif Accord."
