Cabinet ratifies bills to develop banking work in Syria

The Syrian cabinet on Tuesday ratified a number of bills to develop the banking system horizons in Syria.

In a weekly meeting of the cabinet, it ratified three bills to diversify its financial activities and give them flexibility and independence in investing money.

The bill included the Popular Credit Bank, the Real Estate Bank and the Saving Bank which are going to be considered as public establishments of economic nature enjoying the accreditable identity as well administrative and financial independence.

Meantime, the cabinet ratified two bills on the partnership agreement of the free-trade-zone between Syria and Turkey and the second ratifies the accord implying inking the agreement signed between Syria and Italy as to build an equip children heart surgery center and marrow bone transplanting center at children's hospital in Damascus.
