African Union mediates to resume negotiations over Darfur

A delegation representing the African Union will arrive during this week in Sudan in order to discuss the resumption of peace negotiations over Darfir in May.
The Sudanese minister of agriculture Majzoub al-Khaleifa said that the government still maintains its position which supports dialogue and negotiations to solve the issue of Darfur, situated to the west of Sudan. The Nigerian capital had hosted a meeting between the Sudanese government and the rebellions in Darfur.
