Syrian minister: Arab electrical linkage is successful

Syria's Minister of Electricity Muneib Saem al-Dahr on Thursday underlined the importance for Arab states to make use of electrical linkage projects, describing the electrical linkage among Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria as a successful experiment.
"Studies are underway to establish an electrical linkage project between Syria and Turkey in order to link electrical networks between the Arab states and Europe through Turkey and Greece," the minister said during a seminar on electrical linkage among Arab states held at Arab League HQ in Cairo.
