Berri; Moeller discuss latest developments

Speaker of Lebanese Parliament Nabih Berri on Thursday renewed his country rejection of the foreign intervention in the Lebanese internal affairs.

Lebanese National News Agency said that Berri discussed with the visiting Danish Foreign Minister Per Stig Moller the latest developments in Lebanon and the Middle East.

The agency referred to a difference in viewpoints between Berri and Moeller regarding the issue of disarming Lebanese resistance.

Meanwhile, Lebanese Grand Mufti Sheikh Mohammad Rashid Kabani called for boosting the national unity because it is a guarantee in the face of wars.

The Mufti, said in a statement that wars in Lebanon have gone without return, stressing Lebanon is the land of co-existence, amity and unity.
