The Guardian: Iraqi anger over US occupation
Iraq-USA, Politics, 4/14/2005

British paper The Guardian said Wednesday that number of Iraqi victims is extensively increasing as much as Iraqi prisoners who are not tried, noting that the number of the Iraqi security prisoners reached about 17000 person.

"The Iraqis are feeling pain because of the US occupation," the Guardian noted, referring to the demonstration which took to the street last week in Iraq to protest against the American occupation as an obvious evidence of the Iraqis' rising hatred against any foreign occupation.

The daily added that the Iraqis' rage has been increasing as a reaction to the US failure in fixing the electricity and water supplies in the country.

"They become furious when they see their country's precious resources disappear by foreign contracts that bring no benefits to them," the Guardian said.
