Civil society stresses Lebanese-Syrian relations

Civil society associations in Beirut on Wednesday stressed the importance of continuing close relations between Syria and Lebanon.
"Relation with sisterly Syria will not stop at the military presence in Lebanon, this relation stems from land, history, peoples' unity and a summary of civilizations," the coordinator of civil associations in Lebanon Fouad Eitani said in a statement following a meeting with Speaker of Lebanese Parliament, Nabih Berri.
