Continued visits of American officials to Iraq

The US Deputy Secretary of State, Robert Zoellick, arrived on Wednesday in Baghdad in a one day visit.
This visit came after the US defense secretary Donald Rumsfeld left Baghdad for Afghanistan following a sudden visit on Tuesday during which he stressed that his country has not yet drawn a strategy to withdraw its forces from there and that this measure is linked to the ability of the Iraqi forces to assume the security mission in the country.
