Spanish police nab Moroccan for possible involvement in Madrid bombings

Spanish police arrested, on Tuesday in Algesiras, a Moroccan national for possible involvement in the terrorist bombings perpetrated in Madrid on March 11th, 2004, according to police sources.
Investigators affirm Soufiane Raifak would be linked to Jamal Ahmidan, believed to be the logistic chief of the commando that carried out the Madrid attacks. Raifak is also reportedly linked to three other people indicted part of the investigation, namely Rafa Zouheir, Rachid Aglif and Lofti Sbai. Raifak was nabbed in a centre for illegal immigrants, where he was retained under an administrative ruling on illegal stay in Spain.
The Madrid March 11 attacks left some 192 people dead and hundreds of injured.
